Driving back from rotorua and staying with friends in auckland, so went running from their house in the evening before it got dark! wasn't a particularly interesting path, but the whole place looks like a jungle so thats cool:)

Middle earth sprint, not too bad apart from i lost a lot of time on a control that was out in the flooded bit of the map! got confused as everything had just turned into a lake for that bit...

Guess you can't go to Rotorua and not go MTB :)) went to the Redwoods forest trails with Shallot, super fun! My legs were pretty tired but loved the tracks all the same! :)

Middle earth - middle/long race. basically just a super scrappy run.. lost a lot of time in the area with all the MTB tracks as they confused me sooo much. Picked it up again in the fast, flat section, but then just too many mistakes towards the end so i was quite a bit behind Susan. brain said no.
the runnable bits of forest tho were siiiiiiickkkkkk. like SO FAST
