Cycling (FROG ride) 2:20:00 [2] 33.79 km (4:09 / km)
shoes: Giant Anthem 26 ex Wally

Bits and pieces ride - mostly my own doing. Designated start was the Boatshed but I thought I'd be clever andstart from Burswood. Couldn't have been too clever as Penny, Phil and Helen all did the same. From the Boatshed to UWA, up the western side of Kings Park and around to the sea of blood (artificial poppies being "planted" by our highly trained defence personnel - something for tRicky to aspire to) at the war memorial. Back to UWA and on to Bayside Kitchen where we found Richard, Nicole and Peter already settled in. Back via EQ and Windan to Burswood. Pretty warm by the finish - first "summer" ride. No GPS trace(s) as Garmin can't reach it's servers!

Cycling (Derailleur test) 1:34:51 [2] 18.44 km (5:09 / km) +263m 4:48 / km
shoes: Giant Anthem 26 ex Wally

Adjusted the front derailleur yesterday, applying newly acquired knowledge from YouTube, and needed a test run. Worked surprisingly well for a first effort. Managed to fit in a fair bit of climb plus some sand and gravel, so the old legs are bit wobbly now. Obviously need to do more of it.

Walking (Busso Beach Walk) 33:27 [1] 4.2 km (7:58 / km) +3m 7:56 / km

After a big day (yesterday) of eating, drinking and sightseeing with friends on an informal bus tour south of Busselton, a very pleasant walk along the beachfront. Must have worn off at least 1% of the calories consumed :-).
Highlight of the previous day's trip was at Sugarloaf rock watching the passing parade of southbound whales - having a great time leaping out the water and crashing back into the waves. Lost count very quickly but well over 30 in a half hour of watching.
