Parking at the FROG's take-off was going to be an issue, so I stopped at Burswood and rode over via Windan. First outing for my new Garmin Edge 1030 - courtesy of Juffy and his sister for my recent birthday. Nice bit of kit - it started giving me alerts about sharp bends, etc once I got onto a known bike path and I hadn't even tried the map navigation features. 30 page user manual's going to take some time to digest.

Big turnout for a nice ride from Banks Reserve around to UWA, up to Brew Ha in Subi and back along the railway. Took in four bridges (technically five if you count the Causeway's two sections) around the river. Roadworks and other construction made the trip back pretty untidy but we got through without mishap. Set a new world record for the length of the coffee break - 1hr 6 mins according to the Garmin.
