Concrete/road run (Easy w drills) 57:00 [4] 5.0 mi (11:24 / mi)

I was running good so I pushed a bit harder than usual for an easy run. We had some bad storms and the gravel track was muddy and slick so I changed routes and did a hilly route.
Drills were good.
We’re in San Angelo until Wednesday afternoon. Our son flew into DFW today and we drove him here. Our daughter in law arrives tomorrow with the boys. Our daughter’s summer semester has several 12 hr days each week and so we brought her kids with us. That’ll be interesting. They were good for the first day. They go to NJ a week after we get back, so my summer starts then.
I’m very interested in hearing about the IMTUF race. It was on my list to do but I scrapped it because I didn’t think I could train for it while we have co-parenting responsibilities. I grew up in Grangeville. Depending on how you go, you may pass by it on your way to McCall. There’s really only one north south hwy in ID. McCall is gorgeous. Grangeville has similar features on the north side of town. It’s also between the Salmon and Snake rivers and Camus Prairie so it has a lot of diversity and not many people, roads or amenities. Hells Canyon and the 7 devils are there. That is also a nice place to hike.
