My husband and I took our dogs to Dino Valley; the new site for Big Cedar race. We hiked around for 2 hrs and then got lost. It was really hot today and our pups started overheating. We found a creek and followed it to the river and walked the river until it got deep and the banks got steep. I found us a way up and then found more trail and eventually the parking lot.
The new race venue is 2+ hours from my house now on an eroded rocky trail. My plan is to do the 50k unless it rains. The time cutoffs will be tight but hopefully doable. We'll see if my luck holds.

We got back from scout camp and I decided it would be a good time for a run, but I kept getting delayed. I was in such a hurry I forgot the run details. I ended up running 35 min trail and 20 min concrete and did 10 1 min intervals.
