Trail Run long (Weekly long run) 1:59:00 [3] 9.5 mi (12:32 / mi)

No real good trail to run today so I ran Knob Hill, January's race venue. It was closed because it's muddy but I was curious what it's like now. I haven't been there in years. I was disappointed. The trail is really rough. It was never really built correctly. Being muddy/underwater didn't help. I'll give it another chance before I decide.
Funny note-there were 2 bridges that I remember when I first started riding. I fell off both of them multiple times. I obviously hated those bridges. They did straighten out the trail before and after both of them. You used to enter them on a curve and now the switchback backs have been moved. I evidently wasn't the only person who landed in the creek.

Trail Run (Recovery run) 40:00 [3] 3.5 mi (11:26 / mi)

Still working on night runs. My husband met me at the trail with our dogs. At the beginning he cut the trail and got ahead of me. My dog made me sprint to catch him. We then started a game of chase. Eventually my husband couldn't catch us anymore, but it was a fun change of pace.

Trail Run (Easy w strides) 55:00 [3] 5.0 mi (11:00 / mi)

Trying to use the time change to my advantage by doing night run. I had a good run. I did the strides on the pavement section on the way back to the car.

Trail Run (Run w strides) 45:00 [3] 4.0 mi (11:15 / mi)

Nice evening run on trail before the time change. Did the strides at about 35 minutes to the end.

I had to take a few days off. I just wasn't feeling well. Hopefully this doesn't last long.
