Weight training (Weight training) 1:00:00 [4]

A new program that is really challenging and then added 10 min of yoga.

At this point, it looks like the race trail will be muddy from rain during the week and this trail gets swampy. Then it will turn warm for race day. So the worst of all conditions for me. 2017 looks to be a challenge like 2016.

Glad you like the light. It's quickly become my favorite. A night ice climbing trip sounds like fun.

My husband's trip to Big Bend was with intercity youth. His organization gives them opportunities which can lead to park jobs as adults. He probably is paying back his youthful indiscretions. He was kicked out of scouts for setting the desert on fire. Our kids were never given the free reign he was, that is for sure.

Trail Run long (Long) 1:31:00 [4] 8.0 mi (11:22 / mi)

This was a pretty good run. The results actually surprised me. With the 100% humidity, my asthma gave me fits. I stayed patient but it took over 30 minutes to dissipate. Even with this I was able to run it faster than usual.

Concrete/road run hills (Med hard hill) 59:00 [4] 5.25 mi (11:14 / mi)

Another decent run. I've definitely need to add extra to my route.

Mountain bike ride (Easy ride) 45:00 [3]

I finally got a chance to ride tonight but the trail turned out to be a mess. It was one of the trails under water for 2 years and hasn't been restored. Big parts are eerily dead and then it just stopped. We had to turn around and ride backwards until we could get out.

Concrete/road run intervals (6 X1:30) 1:00:00 [4] 5.5 mi (10:55 / mi)

The intervals were on a gravel track and went ok. I rushed the recovery time a bit. There was a homeless guy who spooked me a bit. I finished them as fast as I could and then left and ran home.

Trail Run (Easy run) 47:00 [3] 4.0 mi (11:45 / mi)

I had planned to do the int rivals this morning but my back just wasn't up for it so I left the concrete and got onto the trail for a nice morning run.
