Good early morning run. I was able to hold between 8:20 and 8:30 for the minute. I never checked speed on short intervals but definitely much faster. The speed work was on a soft track so that I wouldn't have to worry about impact on my knee. No problems developed. I don't think I mentioned that I'm on a 2nd iron supplement now. About a week ago, I woke up covered in bruises again and the skin on my knee had turned brown and started peeling around the hot spot. It turned out that my iron level had plummeted again. So now I'm on Phase 2 and feeling much better and there's no chance that my knee will spontaneously combust.
