Trail Run intervals (Hilly w fartlek) 49:00 [4] 4.0 mi (12:15 / mi)

Interesting run. It felt much harder than yesterday's run but my time was better than usual. I did some fartleks on uphills and downhills.

I've made all my arrangements for the Palo Duro and Las Vegas races. I'm holding off on the SC race. I'm not sure if I will do that race. I'll decide in early November. It will depend on my daughter's divorce, and how the race director is doing preparing for the race.

I'm sorry the cabin didn't work out, hopefully the new house does. I haven't seen anything new about the fires. Hopefully they are all under control. Was your sister and family impacted by Irma? We know a few people who stayed in their homes. They just got the tropical storm conditions and lost power for a day. Not bad.

This was a really good run. I felt strong. At 65 min, I was still outbound. I couldn't remember how long this section was. I almost kept going but then I remembered Sunday's run. I was really surprised how good it felt.

Good walk. When I started my treadmill, it sounded louder than usual. I got off and looked for playdough, toys, or my daughter's clothes. I couldn't find anything, so I just put in the other earbud. That solved the problem.

About half way through my reps, my grandson came in. He used a 5 lb wt with both hands. It was cute. By the end, we were watching cartoons and not the news.

I got in late last night. I did a lot of walking for the past few days and my legs are good. I just have a blister to heal. I'm just a bit tired too
