Trail Run long (2 hr hilly run) 2:07:00 [4] 9.5 mi (13:22 / mi)

I started extra slow to figure out my pace. I kept picking it up as I went along. I only walked about 15 feet twice; once at 90 min about midway up a steep rutted long hill and then at 2:03 (which shouldn’t even count). It was a good morale builder. With 20min to go, I hit a clearing and could see that it was going to rain before I could make it off, that gave me a bit of motivation. I was about 3min faster than my previous record.

Got off work in time to run trail without needing a headlamp. Enjoyed the run.

Treadmill hills (Min on/off) 50:00 [4] 4.5 mi (11:07 / mi)

The off minutes were definitely easier but I’m working hard on hills.

Concrete/road run tempo (Moderate hard) 1:00:00 [4] 5.55 mi (10:49 / mi)

This was a pretty decent run. Most of the mileage was at the 10:20 pace

Trail Run hills (Hilly run) 56:00 [4] 4.86 mi (11:31 / mi)

I owed a hill work out from two weeks ago and thought this would be a good morning to try. I did better than I anticipated. My warm up section was almost two minutes faster than usual. At 25 min of hills, I started feeling it but in. General finished strong.

Right now, my only concern is why my resting heart rate fluctuates so much between days. It goes from 50 to 65. Once that stabilizes I should be 100%.
