Trail Run hills (Hilly trail w fartlek) 1:00:00 [4] 5.25 mi (11:26 / mi)

It was a beautiful sunny day. I did most of the fartleks in the first 40 min. I was worried about the blister getting angry. Everything went well. My husband went too and walked our other dogs, when he got back to the car several other cars had been broken into. I had been going to this trail several times a week for years, now I need to find an alternative.

My Achilles’ tendon is better. I taped it for yesterday’s run and left it taped until after this run. Mostly it’s just tender in the morning and gets better by the afternoon.

Trail Run long (Long run) 1:30:00 [3] 7.0 mi (12:51 / mi)

Tried a new pair of shoes and had an issue with blisters starting at 45 min. I had hoped to do 2hours but stopped because of them. As a good note, I was sitting on the trail putting on a bandaid and a rider stopped. I made a comment and he started smiling and said “OMG it’s you, Lori. How are you”. After a few minutes I recognized him, it was our oldest daughters high school boyfriend. We started him mountain bike riding back in the day. I’m glad he still rides.

Trail Run (Easy run) 42:00 [3] 3.6 mi (11:40 / mi)

Nice run. It was dark and drizzling. Took a good tumble and decided I’d turn on my light before I fell again.
