This run didn’t go as planned. At 30 min, my foot started to burn. I took 30 min to roll out my calf and then I started again. It started to hurt again at 20 min, so I quit for good. I think it got worse when I got tired.

It was a beautiful day. I also thought it would be good therapy for my Achilles’ tendon. I think it helped some.
Hope everything is going well. January has flown by. I’ve gotten registered for all my races except the IL race. The 50 miler is actually Dec 8th. The flu is going strong here. I’ve had 2 friends hospitalized with pneumonia. I guess I was lucky. We’re getting to the gym most mornings, I may try to add swimming.

This was a good run. Only two very short walking points, both up long rutted climbs. I finished the main loop almost 10 min faster than usual. At the very end, my Achilles’ tendon started hurting again. I spent the rest of the day resting it.
