Hiked Cedar Ridge again this week. I still have a headache from yesterday’s fall, so I kept it shorter.
I hope you had a good Easter. Weather here is perfect for outdoor activities. I have a funny story. A few weeks ago, an older man who I’ve seen for months during mass, introduced himself. It wasn’t until he was trying to help me into my Jeep that I noticed that special twinkle in his eyes. I called my husband on my way to a trail and told him. I said we had 2 options; he could start coming to church with me or get me a bigger wedding ring. He suggested there was a 3rd depending on Antonio’s age and financial stature. So the next week when he asked me out, I had to tell him I was married. He almost acted like he didn’t understand. My husband went with me to Mass today and Antonio got to see that he exists, but he also got to see me with a swollen and colorful eye and cheek along with numerous scratches. He looked so confused. I’ll probably be getting a call from someone at the church this week.

A decent run. At 2:20, I was exactly on schedule, which never happens. I found a route for the future that is a bit long so it will push me some. At the half way point, I felt really tired. I worked through it and at 2 hrs, I was pushing my pace until I tripped and face planted hard. It took a few minutes to clean up and shake it off but then I got back to it.

Much better run this afternoon. Still not my best but such an improvement.

This was supposed to be the moderate hard hill run but it just didn’t work out that way. Anytime my heart rate got over 120 ish, my asthma attack would stop me. It took me 40 minutes before I could really run at a harder pace. I kept trying but it just wasn’t my day.

This was a decent run. The first 5 intervals were fine. #6 was bad. I walked slower on the recovery and #7 was ok The last 2minutes felt brutal.
