Treadmill hills (Hill walk) 30:00 [4] 2.1 mi (14:17 / mi)

Typical hill walk. I did some stretching afterwards.

My husband got my commuter bike fixed up yesterday. Today my granddaughter and I took an hour ride. So much easier to ride it than my daughter’s mountain bike. She has platform pedals but the bike is too small for me to be comfortable. Now I even have a kickstand, which I have to use sometimes when we ride together.

We found out that our son will be stationed at San Angelo, TX next. It’s less than 4 hrs away. He should be there in June. That will be the closest to home he’s ever been. I’m so excited. He should also get his promotion to Lt Colonel while he’s there. They’ll be there for 2 years and then to D.C. or San Antonio. That’s 4 years w the boys in the states. We have a lot of plans to go camping at San Angelo State park and since our daughter is moving from the camper into the house, we can start using it ourselves.

Trail Run long (Long run) 3:00:00 [4] 14.0 mi (12:51 / mi)

Decent run. Only one trail near me open and I’m getting a bit bored with it. I had thought about driving to the rails to trail again, but just didn’t want to waste 3 hours driving. I did put some road in, but there was more trail opened since the lake is down so that helped.

Trail Run intervals (6x2 @ 8:40) 1:00:00 [4] 5.5 mi (10:55 / mi)

I did most of the run on trail. The first 4 intervals were on the road. When I’d cross a road, I would do the intervals. They went pretty well. The last 2 were on nontechnical parts of the trail. Both of those times, I had to turn around and run back because I’d hit a rock garden. That did cause some slow down but other than that, the speed was close to goal.

Trail Run (Medium effort) 1:00:00 [4] 5.4 mi (11:07 / mi)

Got off work early so I had plenty of daylight. There was someone riding a dirt bike on the trail. I literally chased him off the trail and back to the trailhead. That really helped with the effort.

Concrete/road run (Recovery) 46:00 [3] 4.0 mi (11:30 / mi)

Ran my neighborhood. Lots of lights up already. We at least got the Halloween stuff down last week.
