Trail Run (Trial run) 50:00 [3] 4.0 mi (12:30 / mi)

I started feeling bad last Sunday after driving home. I was finally able to get to the dr on Thursday. I was diagnosed with the flu, bronchitis, strep, upper respiratory infection and laryngitis. My blood counts are completely off and that piece will take me the longest piece to recover.

I decided to try and run just to get out of the house. I brought my water pack but an hour was too ambitious. In the beginning it was minute run/walk. At the 20 minute mark, I had a spark. I ran 2 miles easily at 11 min pace on technical trail. I was thinking that I’d drop off the trail and do the long road run. Right after that, I hit a big wall. I had to run/walk to finish the trail and get back to the car.

I don’t know what happened but that was it.
