Mountain bike ride (Ride) 1:30:00 [3]

My daughter in law and I did the state park trails. These are fairly technical and are a good challenge. I got my shorter crank rms and now my bike is set to cut down the handlebars. Since the desert trails hold no tree gates, it was fine that they didn’t get cut down before the trip

I won’t have an opportunity to do a long run or the TM hills. Tomorrow morning is a canoe trip which should be great fun.
This was just a quick run to check out a dirt road behind our site.

Concrete/road run tempo (Flat easy/tempo ) 1:05:00 [4] 6.0 mi (10:50 / mi)

This was a good run. I misread the run, and had the tempo at 9:10. I thought that was a bit fast for tempo work but was able to hit it each time. The 3rd set was the best. I was able to hit the paces and keep them. The other sets had some rolling of the pace,

This was a good run. I always run well when I take a day off.

This is my last week w a company that I’ve worked for 10 years. I’m not getting off as early as I wanted most days and I have a lot of work at home to get ready for our trip. I’ll do my best to get runs in.
