Saturday Jan 6

running 30:00 [3] 5 km (6:00 / km)
(injured) shoes: Asics GT2100
AM - Dog Days Group - met at Old Oak Med Center (SW corner of Folks & 6th). Tripped & fell (rolled forward onto soft lawn grass by sidewalk) on Wakarusa by Mustard Seed Church. Finished the run OK. But the right hamstring got tweaked and iced it afterwards. Upper left shoulder slightly sore, but I don't see a problem with that. Now, we'll see what the damage is to the hamstring.

Thursday Jan 4

strength/stretching 20:00 [1]

3 chins.

AM - total of 6 laps with
2x stairs
50m lunge walks

Wednesday Jan 3

strength/stretching 20:00 [1]
shoes: Asics GT2100
AM - at Student Rec/Fitness Center - 5 min on bike, then assorted weights and stretching - easy.
biking (road bike) 54:00 [2] 12.8 mi (4:12 / mi)
shoes: Shimano (bike)
PM - afternoon ride to Lakeview (+) using my new Cateye on my old Gios. Now I know it's 12.8 mi to the end of the pavement. Temp: 55, windy from SW. A day off form work. . .

Tuesday Jan 2

Note
(rest day)
1.5 hour nap instead of bike ride to Lakeview.

Monday Jan 1

running 1:49:00 [3] 13.1 mi (8:18 / mi)
shoes: Asics Gel-1100
Afternoon run of half marathon course starting at the start (Haskell stadium). 40 degrees, sunny, wind from NW milds, in shorts.
Right hamstring tightened up at end, no problem but need to be cautious again about overdoing things.
