AM - rode around town taking photos of Lawrence Half Marathon. Stop and go.

After getting back from Haskell (half marathon), went for a 40 min run. Hamstring held up. Hamstring may be OK for May 4 marathon, but will rest of body hold up (left toes, left lower calf, adductors)? Hot (70s) and sunny - now start complaining about the heat and sweat in the eyes.

AM - biked to Clinton SP - far west campground. Windy from NW, sunny 50F. 4 layers on top, balaclava, tights (& helmet)

AM - did the 5 min dynamic stretching, then run towards Peterson & Kasold area via Princeton both ways. Hamstring got tight, but was not the twingy-feel, so convince myself that's nothing. Besides, tightness in left lower calf and left adductor area are concerns. So, get over worrying about it all!
57F, but very windy - overdressed.

Tuesday Apr 15

PM - after work rode to Free St HS, then Queens north to Martin Park Rd and home. Dr. Jones said to go ahead and ride tonight, but run no more than 20 min tomorrow.

AM - shoulder stretches; stretching and exercises at Dr Jones office.
PM - stretching before bike ride
Note
Booked a bed & breakfast place in Lincoln tonight for the May 4 marathon. Dr. Jones says he'll have me ready (hamstring ready).

Monday Apr 14

AM - to Starbucks at 7th & Mass and back. Short strides, OK no problems until just a block from home and felt a slight twinge. See Dr. Jones for opinion. Dynamic stretching for hamstring before run (about 5 min).
