DD#4 - dynamic stretch exercises anf home nbefore going to LHS; then Dog Days. Avoided any exercises involving jumping on the right foot. Also walked 3 laps instead of dfoing any running to rest up the right Achilles tendons before Sat's 10K.

Lawrence Loop & Wells Overlook.
The flooding over the the K10 bike path caused a serious erosion problem by Haskell St. Gushing water through an erosion gap. You could cross over if you don;t mind getting your feet wet. I turned around and went through the Louisiana underpass, which was still underway but crossable. Went to LHS to pick up my towel I left behind after Dog Days. Did not push it; slow was OK.
Wind from the S, gusty. Sunny with some clouds.

to Clinton Overlook via Rock Chalk Park. Warmer: 84F, wind from S. Kept pace easy.

Picked up Damon from airport at abut 1 am, didn't get to bed until 2:45. Woe up at abut 8 am. Then about an hour nap before noon. Iced right achilles twice in th emorning. Yesterday's Dog Days "jumping" exercises and stretching on the ankles were too much.

Lawrence Loop plus - Rock Chalk Park, then over Clinton Lake dam to ride into the triathlon going on; down hill then Lone Star Rd to Leary Rd, Michigan. Stopped to pick up a turtle in the middle of the road. He peed on my leg. Had a bandanna I wore earlier as a thin windbreak at the start of the ride; wiped down with water and hung the bandanna behind my seat to get home. Water was still deep at the dip at Louisiana and K10, so I turned around went to Leary Rd, crossed Haskel to the next paved road and thenback to 31st. Further east to Noria, then back on 11th to Sandra Shaw Park where I bumped into Pauk Boone. We chatted, then slowly rode to my house. Nice easy ride.

dynamic stretching at home along with tempo calves and buzz saw planks. They at Lied Center parking lot did Dog Days stretching before run. Some static stretchng after second run.

Dog Days #1 (for summer 2016) - ran with the 7 am group, then went out again with the 7:45 group. Easy pace.

Got a pretty good night's sleep for a change.
Did the Lawrence Loop but added a little more taking the Lone Star Road from Iowa to the CLinton dam. Then to Overlook Park to take off the long sleeve undershirt, then rode to the north end of the bike path, then by Danny Manning's former mansion at Fall Creek before getting home. A gooid ride and didn' hack and cough as much, but still coughing.

Cadence sensor wasn't working today. Approx. time and distance as I again forgot to reset the Garmin Edge after a ride on May 31st (sloppy!).
