Blue & Gray Park ) - course set by Tom. Felt tired all day yesterday so wasn't sure I'd be up to racing today, but I need the practice if I'm going to the Texas meet.
Did the Green Course; had best time. Wasted time going from5 to 6 - mistook the southern field for the one I was looking for. A beeline route would have been better given the woods, marked very green) weren't bad at all.

biking 2:40:00 [2] 30.0 km (11.3 kph)

Rented mtn bikes - just on the street around the corner where we were staying. Trinidad to La Boca and to the Playa Ancon and back. Rental bikes were mtn bikes. Had to show Dee how to use her index shifters as she still rides bikes with friction down-tube shifters. We were so used to seeing how people interact on the roads among bikers, walkers, tour buses, cars, old American cars from the 50s, and horse buggies - it was no sweat to ride and be in the traffic. Traffic was light. We did not want to pay for parking our bikes at the "free" beach (Playa Ancon), so we didn't sample the white sandy beach. Nice weather and a good easy workout.
