warm up run in north Lawrence before the GGRS Free 5K.

GGRS Free 5K on levee. Took photos at start, then ran with backpack & Canon & telelens, stopping a few times to take photos.

Then drove to KU Campus to photograph the 10 am TomSTRONG 5K.

Still coughing up mucus during run, almost over the cold and no longer taking Sudafed.

Was going to try 9 miles today. Will do my long run tomorrow.

Easy day, threat of rain so I skipped the Kansas Relays; napped. Then dinner with Dee and Damon to hear about Damon;s bike adventure.

Appt in morning to see my cardiologist, nothing new but will have another cardo on Fri and had a blood test for magnesium levels.
Then went to Kansas Relays for about 2 hours in the afternoon, took some photos, but not too excited about the event this year.
After Theatre Lawrence play (Glass Menagerie) stayed up until midnight to get call from Damon to pick him up from the airport rerturning from his week's solo bikepacking trip in Arizona.

From 11th/Vt to 23rd/Vt and back w extra side blocks. (run/walk, roughly walk 1/w block, run 1 block). Still coughing up mucus; cold not over yet.

at SPL, didn't feel well, tired and groggy with last tinges of the cold I've had. skipped the run on the Rock Chalk Park trails, though the weather was fine.
Rowing exercises for upper back.

(sick) (rest day)

Was able to suppress my coughing when I had my meeting with my cardiologist, Dr. Ghose. He suggested in the future I take Sudafed and Benedryl and stop using NyQuil. Took Sudafed later that day and it helped.
Tested on my magnesium level later in the day, then on Fri. another echocard.
Use of beta blocker causing numbness in my hands, fingers and toes. Could switch to a more specific formula but the coming warmer weather should also alleviate numbness issues. So same small dosages of Carvedilol & Lisinopril until the next appt with Ghose in Oct.
