Day 3 at Georgia Navigator Cup. walked gingerly around start and finish areas taking photos; continued to ice and wear compression wrap around right hamstring. Went to a sports bar near motel with Mike and Mary and friends of Mike from Atlanta to watch the Chiefs win their AFL championship game. Fun.
Made the most of the weekend after injuring the right hamstring. Enjoyed seeing old orienteering friends again and fun chatting with new people.

Rest day, but still went to Day 2 of the Georgia meet 2 to hang around and taking cellphone pictures.
Continued icing.

Bert Adams Scout Camp, Covington, GA. Brown course. DNF. Right hamstring started ache really going to pt 7 let up on speed, bit not enough and sharp pain came on with a snapping sound. Had to stop. Definitely time to quit. Tried to walk back to finish area on the road. Put pressure on the right hamstring as I tried to walk, impossible without some pressure around the upper leg. Then took out my old polypropylene long sleeve (I had in in my jersey back pocket) and wrapped a tourniquet. That worked. Then 300m from the finish,got a ride in. Advil and icing to start healing process. This will take a long time.
