Squash 1:30:00 [2]
(injured)

With less than 2 weeks til comp starts, and whispers that Div-1 will be more competitive than last season, it's time to start training again. Looking forward to rebuilding fitness and reuniting with some past teammates.

Solo hit blowing out the cobwebs followed by games with Keelan & Stan. Tried not to move more than 2 steps from the T but this became impossible when they hit tight or boasted/dropped. Lateral movement felt okay but like running I struggled moving forward off the balls of my feet. Seem to have more weight in my shots compared to 3 months ago, probably due to the extra 5kg I'm carrying, mostly fat not muscle unfortunately.

Another nice map and course. Can't remember running these trails before. The usual recent story... off the pace but salvaged a competitive score with solid navigation & route plan. Richard's P's "Speed vs Score" series ranking stats are indicative - 9th vs 2nd.

Went 300m further than James' optimal route - taking wider street options (e.g. 25-26, 26-8, 7-17, 23-22). Streets vs tracks were roughly equivalent in time although perhaps in my current condition I should've opted for the tracks. 600 in 43.02. James 40, Glenn 41, Andy 41, Richard 43, Konsta 44.

Foot felt much better during the run compared to the comeback run last week but painfully limping around for the next 2+ days is getting frustrating.
