Reasonably happy with my run EXCEPT that I forgot to go to #7. Very disappointing. Lost < a minute when I started toward a wrong control, then corrected. In retrospect, saw about 6 places where I might have taken a better route, about 3 of them would be meaningful improvements. Beautiful day and fun.

Challenging navigation. Stood a couple times for 30 seconds looking for a good route. I would have liked returning the following day to re-run some legs but my fellow travelers weren't willing.

Started with a 10-minute error on 1-2. Allowed myself to be distracted and drawn off course. Then a few more 1-2 min errors. Not sure whether I needed to go faster or slower...

This was supposed to be an exploratory hike on some trails new to me but I made a parallel error in picking the trailhead and failed to think when I picked out the hike. Dirt road and paved road. Pleasant anyway. with Dan, Rick, Eileen, Leif. North from eastern gaging station at N end of Bark Res to Rte 57, west to west granville, south to western gaging station.
