Saturday Nov 11 #

strength 1:30:00 [1]

Hauling boxes. Sent my back into spasm for the first time in 14 years, lifting a file cabinet. Not smart.

Friday Nov 10 #

mountain biking 2:00:00 [2] 16.0 mi (7:30 / mi)

Mountain View-Ship Creek-Chester Creek-animal shelter for pickup. Excellent ride. Played tourist in MV. First ever trip on SC trail. Pushed a bit bc dan was waiting. Need warmer boots.

Thursday Nov 9 #

yoga 1:00:00 [2]

Wednesday Nov 8 #

mountain biking 2:30:00 [2] 18.0 mi (8:20 / mi)

Home-Tour of Anchorage trail-Basher Road-tank trail to Chester Creek-return via gas line-queen Bee-Jive. Stopped by cold toes. Liked the single track better today. My faithful Stumpjumper is easy to ride very slowly.

Tuesday Nov 7 #

walking 1:00:00 [2] 3.41 mi (17:37 / mi) +399ft 15:51 / mi
shoes: Merrill Granite

Seeing a bear track led me to glance over my shoulder more than once.

Monday Nov 6 #

mountain biking 1:10:00 [2] 10.0 mi (7:00 / mi)

Further testing of Stumpjumper and riding garb. Single track and ski trails too rough for pleasure. Best riding on streets and wide multi-use trails. Pogies need some re-work. Toes chilled. Overall excellent success at about 26 degrees. Saw a guy on a fat bike on single track with baby in a backpack; at least it wore a helmet.
