Swiss Relay Champs


Back to start leg - back to business. Full control straight from the beginning, losing some seconds due to longer forking to #1-2 and #7, eventually having a bit shorter one to #13. From the loop east of the street onwards, we managed to get a gap in a group of three. Worked well until the second last, where I throw away the ambitions to win this leg. The control looks quite easy, we three, however, have all been quite confused by all the cliffs and controls there. I took some risk and run a little bit to the wrong side, eventually punching last with some gap. Should have gone all-in for the sprint - or even better: check the map more carefully... Good fun and race anyway!
