10mila
It's nice to lead 10mila, though at the end it's the time you hand over the map, which is counting. Thanks to the 9 boys after me (and the whole LS37 gang) for that nice event anyway! The first part was quite alright :), we made some gap until #12, where everybody met again in the green. Almost made a bigger mistake to #14 but reminded myself to check the compass and went away from the others just in time. Got back to Top15 after the longer leg back. This is where I said to me: «Now you really have to concentrate once again on that last hill!» Well, two days after the desaster I kinda know why it happend. Basically, multiple alarm bells were ringing and I was ignoring all of them.
- when going up the hill I knew I should go more right. I didn't.
- when jumping down some small cliff behind some other boys, I was thinking that I actually should go up. I didn't.
- when coming to the steep part I should have realized that it's too step. I didn't.
- when coming to the wrong control I might have relocated myself quickly. I didn't.
Long story short: I didn't THINK at all. Literally something to think about during the next trainings/competitions. And to take along the good memories from 90% of the course and the whole weekend with LS-37 <3
