Run 4:32 [3] 0.6 km (7:35 / km) +20m 6:31 / km

Warm up for a short run in the weston creek gully.

Run 7:31 [3] 1.37 km (5:29 / km)

Actual short run - downhill! Early O season assessment - as long as NZ events are downhill I should be OK.

Run 6:39 [3] 0.69 km (9:34 / km) +14m 8:41 / km

Recovery after run - already getting hot with a top of around 36C expected.

ride with Peter 1:39:24 [3] 39.6 km (2:31 / km) +327m 2:25 / km

Sans Peter N today but still a peloton of 4 - fast pace as mainly the gun runners here. Second in the post dam hill sprint by a whisker - got a good break when I used a fast descending cyclist as a chance to jump ahead of Brad which meant the others had to wait to pass Brad. Still had 10 metres on Peter P with the last short climb to go but then heart rate hit a maximum.

After 3 kms recovered from the sprint and enjoyed the rest of the ride - altho a few too many head winds around the lake. Nice coffee and chat before a fast enough ride home.

Short downhill run near shopping centre while Liz walked the pooch - time and distance a bit of a guess tho.
