Tuross Heads run 2 - same directions as previous - tried to keep HR at 140 most of the time. Nice ocean views but a bit more humid.

Friday Feb 9 #

Kayak 1:46:58 [3] 6.0 km (17:50 / km)

Usual paddle with Liz and Peter around Horse Island etc in the Tuross head Inlet and Tuross river. Tougher paddle back into a head winds and incoming tide and small waves.

Thursday Feb 8 #

MTB 2:06:25 [3] 38.88 km (3:15 / km) +490m 3:04 / km

Tough ride with EUROBUG from Moruya and back. Mix of roads, dirt, single track and beach! Felt better in second part - beforehand had to cycle without talking. Lucky the group stopped about 5 times to regroup. Need a bootcamp before going on holidays to keep up with these oldies.

Tuesday Feb 6 #

MTB 38:22 [3] 12.0 km (3:12 / km) +106m 3:04 / km

Ride with DRAG along waterfront (mainly where I had run only about 1 hour previously). Finished ride then went for a swim to complete the triathlon!

Run 28:39 [3] 5.0 km (5:44 / km) +44m 5:29 / km

Tuross Head run 1 - from the Pines along the foreshore and then back - stopped and had a short stretch at 2.5 kms. First training run of this distance (rest of 5 kms have been part of park run events).

Sunday Feb 4 #

walking 2:15:00 [3] 10.25 km (13:10 / km) +350m 11:15 / km

Carried 14 kg for walk to Square Rock from Corin car park area. Lovely weather and plenty of green around after recent rainfall - especially in the Brindabellas. Nice to hit the mountains before a week at the coast.
