Park run 27:50 [3] 5.0 km (5:34 / km) +48m 5:19 / km
ahr:145 max:160

Studley Park Parkrun in Melbourne which crosses the Yarra on a wobbly (when other runners are on it) suspension bridge and even has some switchbacks - gravel track which was wet form over night rain while we had passing showers before and after run. Finished at least 6 minutes after Scott and beaten by Gen. Tough course compared to Burley Griffen.

road cycling 1:15:00 [3] 34.48 km (2:11 / km) +50m 2:10 / km

Rode two parts of the Great Vic Rail trail near Mansfield and Yea on MTB with Liz - nice and green in the area and fitted in a former rail tunnel. En route to Melbourne for the weekend.

ride with Peter 1:39:57 [3] 39.54 km (2:32 / km) +371m 2:25 / km

Peleton of 4 on a humid day for the LBG circuit. Won hill sprint again! Coffee stop chat ranged from the delights and sights of the Himalayas in India to Kangaroo Island. Hit the wall a bit on the ride home so still recovering from the weekend races.

Run 10:45 [3] 2.02 km (5:19 / km) +23m 5:02 / km

Short jog at pace around Deeks cross country track - planned to do more but felt rather tired still after weekend races - jog/walk down and back to track not counted. Getting warm here.

MTBO 1:51:46 [3] 27.14 km (4:07 / km) +611m 3:42 / km

Very tough course for the Long Champs - dropped a minute or so to 1 when I did not see the tiny yellow droplet on the map near the main track and a single track after 1 - I took a slower single track route and also accidentally visited another control (my 8 actually) which was also very close to 1. Then dropped 3 minutes on route choice to 2 as the control number was put in an inconvenient place on the map which gave the impression there was a small path off the fire trail to the single track - there wasn't one so had to ride further to another single track junction and then a crappy track to join another single track - track was crappy as had been used by trial bikes so had deep and narrower hollows which my pedals would not clear - so had to walk parts of that bit. Then had long route choice and took the one to the right - 21 minutes later and a lot of climb I got it - good riders who took the other option did a similar time. Only other hassle was near 13 when I was too tired and walked a climb I could have avoided. Finished about 7th when I left but a long way off a podium - even O-ing said he was stuffed. Top speed was 49.2 kms per hour.
