Usual Rucks ride to the arboretum for coffee then home - quick trip home as it was rainy slightly and much colder than on the way there. Peleton of 2 most of the way there and back - peleton of 1 at the end as I did not stay and wait for rucks to chase roos as I was getting too cold. HR results look weird.

Running training at the arboretum with a headlight. Started at the National Rock Garden (have to park here as the gates close by 5.30pm now) then ran thru to the arboretum and up the 21 terraces and then headed over to the break dance statue where we did 8 intervals. Basically a climb section on a track that I often ride down on the mountain bike, a downhill on a fire trail and then a short cross country recovery leg. Cruised down the road back to the car park afterwards with white line fever. A few of the group are doing the UTA 50 in a bit over a weeks time. One of the group is doing it after just finishing 12 marathons over the past 12 months (he did 10.5 intervals while I did 8).

Cold and wet heading to the exercise class - but the heater was on in the room which was nice - usual array of exercises - handled them better than in the past. Scrapped usual subsequent bike ride today when I found I had another flat tyre - need a new tyre and more tubes.

Ran with Grant and explored the new Kama nature reserve - but to get there we had to run thru the Pinnacles nature reserve - all very nice but downhill most of the way so there was only one to get back - uphill. A few stop starts to find the best way. Cool conditions - around 5C when we started but soon stripped off for the run back uphill.

Secret training ride with Peter on the LBG circuit - lots of other out on the Sunday morning including a rally of beagle dogs (and their owners) - not sure if they were protesting something or just socialising.
