Saturday Nov 14 #

road cycling 50:19 [3] 18.66 km (2:42 / km) +213m 2:33 / km

Short spin around newly opened cycle paths in Coombs/Wright suburbs then a loop via the Great Wall of Curtin.

Friday Nov 13 #

MTB 1:12:03 [3] 21.28 km (3:23 / km) +346m 3:08 / km

After the overnight rain chose to ride to the arboretum and back via the sealed bike paths to ensure the bike stayed clean (and fast). 3 of the 4 riders chose the same option so I was in the majority.

Thursday Nov 12 #

7 AM

Run 38:00 [3] 5.91 km (6:26 / km) +140m 5:45 / km

Cadence running group training session - 2 km warm up - 12 approx 200 metre rep sessions - 3 short hill climbs - 2 kms warm down. Start from arboretum main car park. Quite pleasant running conditions despite the early hour.

Wednesday Nov 11 #

8 AM

ride with Peter 1:45:00 [3] 40.68 km (2:35 / km) +397m 2:28 / km

Peloton of 4 to 5 to 6 at various stages of the LBG circuit. Warm still conditions so nice riding. Pace was sedate expect for the hill sprint where I managed to get on the wheel of a fast overtaking commuter (aka a domestique) at the base of the hill so was able to power past Brad who was leading out. Win cost me a shout at coffee.

Tuesday Nov 10 #

8 AM

Run 50:25 [3] 7.87 km (6:24 / km) +40m 6:15 / km

Run with Grant around Lake Ginninderra and environs to the north of it. Lovely weather in the nations capital today. Early morning start.

Monday Nov 9 #

Swim 20:00 [3] 0.4 km (50:00 / km) +1m 49:23 / km

Lane to myself again - says the centre can have 522 people and be COVID safe - think it had closer to 22 today when we visited.

Sunday Nov 8 #

O race 27:42 [3] 4.03 km (6:52 / km) +13m 6:46 / km

Sprint event at St Judes Primary and a nearby pre school - the pre school area was more complex. But two gates were unfortunately shut which reduced route choices - at least the setter spotted this and quickly corrected the map just before the starts. A couple of small mistakes but at least I did not mp for a change. Enjoyable.
