Peloton of 3 and cagily won the hill sprint by earlier claiming I was not interested as I was over dressed - misty rain at the start so had spray jacket and 3/4 rain pants on - closer to the hill sprint the bike path was drier and a runner at the base of the climb meant the peloton had to go single file and as I was in front it provided a nice launching site to jump ahead of Des and I held out to the finish line - but immediately stopped to ditch the extra layers and to get my breath back!

Overcast here today and tailwind on the way home. Joined at coffee stop by two others (one drive and one walked) another got held up by a traffic jam and missed out and another was not heard of (but they are a fine weather rider only). I shouted coffee for the record.

Run with Grant starting near Kaleen shops then thru to North Lynhem Ridge, O'Connor Ridge then touched on Bruce Ridge before back to start thru the AIS (all these 4 names refer to O map areas). Started at 7.30 am to avoid the heat - and a westerly breeze also helped reduce the sweat.

With Liz and Sue in the wilds of Tuggeranong including riding some single track beside the Murrumbidgee River near Point Hut Crossing. Most of the ride on bike paths tho. Started and finished at Erindale shops.

ACT Sprint series event 4 - Trinity Christian primary school. Nice course in a small area - beat O-ing again (two weeks in a row) - helped this time as he is somewhere in outback NSW!

No hiccups altho slightly held up by Maurice when he came around a building corner at the same time and bulldozed me backwards a few paces! Main thing was my R leg held up to the running.
