O race 55:05 [3] 4.42 km (12:28 / km) +114m 11:02 / km

Return to Wee Jasper to run on the unique limestone rocks/ridges. Map now called Cooradigbee after the farm name. Going well until Nick D led me astray on control 6. He started 2 minutes ahead but with both of us fast walking or slow jog I had caught him at 3. Surprisingly we both checked control 7 looking for 6 - which was about 100 metres apart but about 20 rocks away - but did not realise nor check descriptions to help relocate. Lost about 6 minutes before finding 6. Rest of course ok largely following Nick D as we were again at the same (slow) pace. Nice courses and nice area and nice day out.

Peloton of 3 for cruisey ride to and around Lake Burley Griffen. Joined by Ed and his new hip for coffee. Nice still conditions for riding and warmish - only 3 layers on the chest. Recounted the story told by my neighbour who woke early the other day to find a (lost) kangaroo on his roof.
