Run from the house in the deluge on the trails in the woods round the Oilfields and Craigends. A bit of a plod. I think that's the end of summer.

Eglington Parkrun on the alternative course due to flooding. Pleasantly surprised to have a reasonably good run after a really bad night's sleep, a sair heid and still feeling Thursday's track session in my legs.

As with all Parkruns the alternative course is longer than the normal course and the course we ran was very muddy in places and had lots of large puddles in place so I finished 1 minute slower than 4 weeks ago, but after a slowish start I got going and passed the same group of three runners I passed 4 weeks ago and finished the same distance in front of them as I did 4 weeks ago, so happy enough.

Recovery run from work to Posties and Levengrove Parks and back. Was going to cycle home from work but it was torrential rain so I brought the truck home.

Track session at Linwood track with the athletic club. Session was 15 x 400m (100m easy jog recovery in 1min). Bit of a slow start but got going as the session went on. Quite pleased with how I was running as I haven't done a track session for a few weeks.
