Left hamstring, hip and lower back in agony and can hardly move, I think it's sciatica brought on by sitting down too much recently? Lots of stretching which seems to help a bit

I was looking for an easy run and Amelia wanted to do a 5k non-Parkrun run so we headed out from the house and ran a convoluted lap round the Oilfields and Craigends on the roads. Lots of hills.

Wasn't sure I'd be able to run today coz when I woke up my left hip was in agony and I could hardly walk or move it. The strange thing is that the only time it isn't painful is when I'm running! Not sure what's going on but it's really sore at the moment. I guess now's the time to be injured with nothing to train for.

Run from the house to Crosslee, along the mill lade path to Bridge of Weir with a lap of the fields round Houstonfield Dam on the way and back the same way. A bit tired towards the end.

Run from the house round the Oilfields and Craigends. Usually I see 3 or 4 other people when I do this run, but today I saw 34! Strange times.

Run from the house over to Houston House Woods and various laps of the trails and the fields. Seem to have hurt my left side just above the pelvis but it's okay when running.

Went in to work today after my holiday. Everyone from our department sent home except the staff in the crematorium and the cemeteries which is kind of sobering. Am being set up to be able to work from home but don't know how much I can do coz I spend most of my time out of doors working with contractors who have all stopped working.

Run from the house to Chapel Road, Corsliehill Road and back via the lane round Houston House Woods to the Georgetown Road, Ardgryffe and back. Did the athletic club B interval session as a gently re-introduction to intervals again in the middle of the run. 3 x (3mins (90 secs easy jog recovery)) + 3 x (2mins (1min easy jog recovery)) + 3 x (1min (30secs easy jog recovery)).
