Down and up to Tooleyshaw Moss.
Two and a half laps in the pissing rain, wind and clag.

Profile on Garmin Connect looks like a mountain stage from T de F. Just up or down with no flat.

Karrimor training this definitely is!

Northern Champs M50

Some small errors in the circle and a minute or two lost at No 12, otherwise no excuses I was just SLOW. Crawling up the hills and across the rock. No confidence after putting my foot down a hole and taking a fall on way to No. 5.
Did not realise just how slow and unfit I am for this sort of thing. Especially slow at the end (which used to be when I would make up time) when I was mostly walking.
Gutted. As with the last time I ran a Northern Champs, at least it is over now. OMM next.
2016 plans definitely need a re-think. No point in me travelling up and down the country to go to the big events to feel like this. Better off staying at home (or heading up to Keswick and my beloved fells).

Standard Brockholes run. Tried to set a good pace from start, but never felt comfortable or strong (or fast!).
