Urban Orienteering 40:41 [3] 8.0 km (5:05 / km) +150ft 4:57 / km
weight:158lbs shoes: Hoka Speedgoat

Bingley Urban Blue
Ran with heavily strapped up right calf and little motivation. Took Helen's entry and set off very steady. Not under 6 min/km until downhill run from #6. Tried to enjoy the orienteering, but still went from #16-#19-#18-#17-#18-#19 and nearly DSQ again. At least I punched the last control today. Right calf really sore. Limping badly as I hobbled round. Not sure you could say I was racing as I was constantly aware of the pain in my calf and protecting it from getting any worse. Survived, but only just. Tomorrow will show whether it was a good decision to run or if I would have been better resting.

Urban Orienteering 11:57 [3] 2.5 km (4:47 / km) +150ft 4:23 / km
weight:157lbs shoes: Hoka Speedgoat

Sprint race in Cliffe Castle park.
Strapped up right calf and hoped for the best. Calf ok for 100m then really bad for rest of way. Limping badly. Pushed as hard as I dared with no errors apart from missing last control and DSQ. Charlotte Ward 11:22 and Dave Alcock 11:45. Did not run afternoon race as no point. Argh! I could have cried.
