Brimham Rocks.
Proper orienteering amongst the heather, mud and rocks. New 1:4000 map was easier to read than the previous 1:7500 maps, but still difficult to tell what was mapped and what was not. 1 min lost at #6 and plenty of 20-30s errors, but a five minute win was the result of being consistent. Ran hard at the end on the easier moor. Fully aware a fit Chas or Quentin would have done 35 mins or maybe even quicker. YHOA M50 middle champ.
M55 in January.
Both calves not enjoying the wearing of studs.

All OK apart from left knee/ITB tightening during run. Feeling it afterwards.

Tough.
Hard grind.
Slippery corners.
Not pushing too hard on descents.
Is time ok? Will have to wait for results later in the week.
