Alphin Hills
2 laps up and down.
Lap one 53 mins.
Cold and frosty with some ice, but frozen ground was nice and hard.
Left knee not enjoying the steep downhills.
Left lower calf still very stiff and sore, but this was mainly walking or very easy jogging which it can cope with.
Poles and full pack.

Left lower calf bad all week.
Ice/heat/socks/KT tape all applied.
I can stretch it and do heel raises, but feels dead if I try to run or walk quickly on it. I have had this injury before in this calf but I can not remember when and how I treated it/got over it.

Warm up and warm down. Had to walk last km as lower left calf too tight and sore. A bit like a dead leg in the lowest part of the calf that is not the achilles. Left knee still iffy.

Up muddy hill near S. Crosland. 85m climb.
Just too wet and slippery at this time of year. Poles.
