Easy on the canal path in Lincoln reliving my squad days. Just swithed off and let my body go at whatever was comfortable. Felt ok, little ache in the knee right at the end but that's expected with going a little further and being on tarmac. I don't think beers last night helped my HR though...

On the fields again with dad. Knee felt better from the off and I think easier throughout. There I'm a stride at the end and didn't get any reaction so That's positive. Off to Lincoln this evening and plan on getting on the canal path to keep this easy stuff going.

Really easy out on the fields with dad. Pretty muddy out but a nice evening. Knee was alright but quad still feeling the rolling. Still going ok by the looks of things. Going to Lincoln tomorrow for a mates 21st so will keep it easy through that then plan is more of the same once back to sheffield, keeping it all easy.

Marginally longer and marginally faster than yesterday. Glorious day. Started out with my knee support on for the first 6k but it was quite uncomfortable and made my knee feel worse than it was. Took it off for the railway home and it felt fairly normal. Still not running confidently and any tiny feeling makes me very anxious.

Real easy out on the fields. Very conscious of knee at the start with leg aching , was just waiting for it to hurt but I think that was just fall put from the abuse I gave my quad with the foam roller. It got progressively better throughout so I was still really careful at the end but wasn't really feeling it. HRM a bit awol

Easy 5k on the treadmill in the gym to test out how this time off running has worked. 3k with the knee support on then tested for a k without it and it felt easier so kept it off for the last. Very nice and easy, not pushing anything, positive but need to be careful still.
