Coledale Horseshoe after work. Took it proper easy before next weekend but it was good to get out on my own for a bit. We, nt along to Causey, don't know if this is the actual route but it was fun. Enjoyed it, felt physically pretty good. Time to wind down now.

Loughrigg FR - 4th.

First proper race in 3 months or so, felt pretty nervous beforehand. Pretty good field out tonight so wasn't really expecting much. Started fairly cautiously, not going with Jacob, Josh or Dan but settled in to a rhythm. Gap stayed the same throughout the climb to the top, felt alright so should have backed myself and gone with it but didn't know where I was at physically beforehand. Lost some time messing with my cag which came undone round my waste but otherwise fairly uneventful. Caught back good chunks of time on the descent but not quite enough for the top 3, maybe 15s~ back by the end.

Really enjoyed it, fun evening and probably the right sort of race to blow some cobwebs out. Not race sharp yet but felt pretty fit so a bit of a weight off the shoulders!

Easy trotting up Walla, Bleaberry and High Seat. Really gorgeous afternoon, just about got away without fell shoes. Was going to be easier and flatter but couldn't resist getting out! Might suffer tomorrow for it...

Nice run out with Simon after work, cool to be shown some new tracks. Fun route but a little longer than I'd have liked and a bit quick! HR has seemingly been very high for a week or so now, must be some watch error for this sort of reading but is worth keeping an eye on.
