JK Long

Alright I suppose. Physically felt ok throughout, never bonked which was good. Loads of small time losses which ultimately added up to a lot and then just a lack of that kinda killer instinct. Didn't get to run with anyone which was lonely and no water for the whole thing, kinda BS. Just doesn't seem to be clicking right now.

Going to do a proper write up after. Having a pretty good run to 10 then binned 1:30~ allowing Ben to catch. Raced all the way together but lost time on the RC to 16. Then some other general scrappiness. Head just doesn't seem to be quite in the game. Try again tomorrow.

Ran to 10 before 9 then doubled back and corrected. Real massive opportunity to missed today, very disappointed, what an absolute idiot. Didn't feel like I had an extra gear which is kinda expected, hopefully in better forest shape but we'll see. Pretty pissed.

Steady run around the WOC 2014 sprint selection as it was so conveniently located. Generally fairly on top of stuff, missed 1 route (need to not be so stubborn when missing a turn and actually go back) then a couple of alleys were blocked by road painting/building. Greasy evening so was sensible and took it easy on the running for the most part. Enjoyed it and need to get some more training around town. Main take away is being a little more disciplined on contact for friday.

Ran the WCOC Galoppen from a couple of weeks ago on Hawse End. Gorgeous evening and a lovely bit of woods (last ran it for a Peter Palmers I think?). Orienteering really well, very controlled and confident, good stuff.
