Running 47:06 [1] 9.02 km (5:13 / km) +124m 4:53 / km
ahr:155 max:179 (injured) shoes: Saucony Peregrine 10

Easy on the footpaths pre-breakfast. Legs a bit heavy and achy but otherwise going ok. Quad seems to have reacted fairly well to running so hopefully just need to keep things sensible getting back to it.

ahr:149 max:161 spiked:41/43c (injured) shoes: Altra Torin 4.0 Plush

Easy jog around an urban O course. Some nice bits, was quite cautious and didn't push but seemingly no adverse affects on my leg. One dead end and one misreading of gates but difficult to be really dilligently technically at this speed. Will make sure to keep things gradual getting back to it.
Fairly long walk with M around lunchtime too which also didn't seem to cause issues.

ahr:138 max:170 (injured) shoes: Nvii Terra TT

Short and easy on the footpaths with M and Wati. Great to Ru together, leg felt alright. Bit tender this morning but eased off pretty quickly, no pain running but perhaps still a bit stiff and unconditioned. Will keep monitoring.

Chatted with Kim yesterday and she thought it was ok to test out a short, easy jog to see how my leg reacted. Didn't notice any pain when running, just tightness in my R quad from having tried to not use it in the past week (will stretch and roll). Bit of a waiting game to see how it reacts. RICEd afterwards. Marginally longer than intended with a wrong turn.

Lump still present bit less tender to touch and less pain today. Was going to test jog but want to play it safe so will leave it another day or two. Hopefully almost recovered. Work has been fairly tough so hopefully that will keep me fit.

Tuesday Nov 17 #

Definite improvement today, still a bit tender to touch but less pain and seemingly full movement at work with just the odd pang when catching it on something. Will still give it a day or two before getting back to running but at least it seems to be moving in the right direction.

Strength and conditioning 35:00 [1]

General circuit set. Did some leg stuff without any reaction from my quad though the lump is definitely there and still sore to the touch. Doesn't seem to have any real adverse reaction to movement but contact is causing pain.
