Cycling 2:00:00 [3]

AM - to and ffrom school II was coaching at
PM - to and from Oldbury Court
A lot of cycling

Orienteering (Oldbury Court) 40:00 [3]

Horrible run, tired and not thinking well :( with one huge mistake.

Also control 9 clearly on the otherside of an uncrossable wall. First I tried to find a sneak agte entrance but no. Turns out wall was really low, i did the right thing and ran around, but two old men somehow overtook me on this leg?!? This actually really annoyed me. Then messed my thinking up on the long leg to 15 :(

Orienteering 1:00:00 [3]

Ran an old ashclyst map. The area is maybe one of the most overgrown areas I've ever run (like a jungle). But the area is really good full of interesting features and hard nav. Maybe in winter and a middle distance it could be used for a really good event

Orienteering 51:00 [3]

Tenby urban
Horrible race with more time loss than yesterday almost. Can't pinpoint exactly why I found it so hard but never got into the course. But great area and really well planned.
Feel a bit frustrated as I thought I could do well this weekend but just reaffirmed how far off from being a decent orienteering I am.

Warm Up/Down (Hi) 20:00 [3]

Warm Up/Down 20:00 [3]

Orienteering 57:00 [3]

Preslli event
Good run with two big mistakes. First mistake was understandable as I went into the rocks too early on 5. However the 15th control ruined my race overshot by miles and ran right round the hill.

Note

Initially I was really annoyed with yesterdays race, but after looking at the splits I was actually really consistent no real mistakes just general scrappiness. My fitness is greatly improving so I'm not worried about pace just finding good flow.

Biggest mistake was the long leg to 16 where I couldn't see a clear route and rushed causing my route to be all over the place (went round school).

Running 40:00 [3] 9.0 km (4:27 / km)

easy loop of the downs, feeling a bit achey but ok. Taking it easy for the weekend.
