Note
(sick) (rest day)

Very bad breathing in night - lungs painful; heart rattling. Awake 2:30 - 5:30am. Yep. Woke 9:30. Rang GP. Seen today as an "emergency" . Had to ring 111 first. That was 20 mins I'll never get back.

Lungs congested on one side; told if i get any worse, or get a temperature, in the next 48 hours, i run a "real risk" of developing pneumonia.

(Heart: rate 73 - "oh, not bad" said the GP ... we then had the runner / heart rate convo ;) luckily she saw my side of that, being a runner herself!)

Given a prescription for penicillin, but i offered to not start taking it for 48 hours, as antibiotics MAKE ME ILL. and are generally bad to take. We'll see. GP agreed. Told to rest for 48 hours totally.

Next year's Spook weekend will by my last ever (not including relays though). (40th/50th anniversaries). As much as I loved spending time with close friends, especially Undy, I can't do this to myself any more. How can two nights out be worth THIS?
