Orienteering race 1:12:52 [5] 11.01 km (6:37 / km) +195m 6:05 / km
shoes: Innov8 MudClaw 300 2019

MLS Brown race, Long Valley, 8.7km / 225m, 6th 71:52

Not a bad run, a few errors - 1min no 3 (map sooo confusing!); no 11 (weird; tried to be too clever & it backfired, 1min), no 17 (wrong re-entrant off steep hill) (1min), finally stupidly, could NOT locate the path to no 22, (even after I found the flag!!!) 1min. Plus 30secs no 13; 30secs silly banana near end no 26 when tired/not focussing. . so nearly 5 mins. Hmmmm. But many were far worse off. eg. Jan Travicek!!! Felt fit & strong running-wise the whole way.

Worst part of day: Dreadful Radio 2 playlist song "It's OK not to be OK" was going round my head all the way there, all the way round the course, & all the way back too. It's NOT ok to be NOT ok due to "It's OK not to be OK" going round your head the whole fucking way; by some whiny young woman (again), ("Marshmello & Demi Lovato"). Ugh! FFS, as if 2020 couldn't be summed up more.

Prov results.
