Troopers hill/ Dundridge UsynligO race, Long, 5.7km, 43 mins retired.

Probably the worst virtual experience to date.

No 1 - ran there, no register, took 20-30 secs, not having this, back to start.

No 1 - fine 2nd time around. Yup.
No 3 - 30secs waiting.
no 6 - 30+ seconds waiting.
(rolled RH ankle in woods en route to no 9 - OUCH)
No 9 - 30+ secs waiting.
No 10 - was at crag foot for 2 mins. Paused course. Paused Garmin. 2 mins. Getting cold. restarted course & it registered.
Sorry, - this is farcical.

Carried on - urban controls 11-15 fine (!).

Then: map quality 18-19 fictional - just wrong on so many levels; then:

No 20. Steps. On a bend. On steps . On a bend. Nope. 2-3 mins? Then it started pouring with rain. I'd changed my accuracy from 5m to 20m but no 21, still wasn't happy. Ran to no 22 - couldnt read map / description due to rain, & glasses on etc, car was 100m away so binned it off.

I think I'm done with this.

HRates: 54% in zone4, so fine; but so many pauses that not really representative of an O race HR.
