Note
(sick) (rest day)
Slept vastly better, but am aware I'm slightly off colour . Ugh.
Running hard (*) does trigger very mild CFS symptoms. I'm going to have to balance my desire to run fast against this. eg. next week's 5mile road TT.
It's a huge shame I can't climb (yet) - an indoor session at Bloc/TCA would be exactly what i need. Climbing never makes me sick (whilst mountaineering, paradoxically, is the worst thing imaginable). Ah, those uneducated who, when i say I climb, say "Oooh, do you want to climb Everest?".
(A bit like a shot putter saying he's an athlete, & getting a response -an athlete? ah do you do the 3000m steeplechase? yes it's that different) (Everest ascents once cruelly referred to as "roped snowy golf courses in the sky" - harsh).
Onwards.
(*) doesn't seem to include O - probably because it's not possible to maintain threshold all the way round an O course.
