Note
(injured)

Weekly update.

More progress. Walking is fine (no more walking stick), shops are fine, stairs are fine, bending & lifting small-ish things are pretty OK if a bit awkward. I'm now off nearly all painkillers & am "with it" again, having been a zombie 2 weeks ago. Can play guitar & piano.

I'm out of breath easily, stomach is still swollen, and "sore", and bandaged up, but compared to the acute pain of the 1st 2 weeks, I'm relatively comfortable. 10cm wound / scar. I'm still not driving.

Lost a lot of weight, muscle? Can't manage big meals, and totally off the beer. 65.1kg was the low point so far . this is NOT good AT ALL. Not sure how i'm going to change this :(

Off to Switzerland on Monday, for 8 nights & my 53rd birthday, which i will spend looking at, rather than climbing up, mountains.

I hope everyone has enjoyed the S6D. I expect to do a tentative Green course sometime in September. Knowing me, I'll win the fucker.

All my sporting aches & pains have completely disappeared (buttock, calf, hamstring, shoulder). So - injury issues, anyone? Get yourself hospitalised, & have a massive operation on your abdomen, it cures the lot.

Also about to exchange contracts on a new flat in North Bristol. Hope to move properly later in August. Great!

Walking 30:00 [0] 2.6 km (11:32 / km) +15m 11:13 / km

Went for a 15 minute walk up the road, and back again, with no rests. So 30 minutes total. No walking stick.

Really pleased.
